O.K. We kinda know that Josh and Steven are going to be going to school and working, right? And ya'll are really cute and all that, but what's Annie doing? Does she ever post on tribe? She's the quiet one who kills silently, isn't she? The Annie Ninja Dancer?
AND when is the next performance for Isidis outside of Ridgecrest?

Sun, September 4, 2005 - 11:47 PMLol. Yes, I am the Ninja Dancer. No, really. I'm actually probably the loudest and most obnoxious of the three of us. And as for what I'm doing, I'm just finishing up my last year of highschool. Yay seniors!!! -

Re: What?
Tue, September 6, 2005 - 11:28 PMYou know, I've been there (R/C) a few times for dance events. I've had a great time while I was there and been very happy to leave . . .
I don't know how the three of you turned out so well. You're not even related to each other, yet there's this strong bond of friendship and the advanced commonality to achieve and get the hell out of there!
VERY Kewl! -

Re: What?
Wed, September 7, 2005 - 12:04 AMThanks! We will be out of here one day...but until then, we will have to all pile in a car and drive at lease an hour and a half to the nearest dance show...kinda sucks, but its fun!

Re: What?
Wed, September 21, 2005 - 10:06 PMheh, we're growing but who knows in which direction since all the churchy people want to keep it the same old mayberry rfd that it supposedly is (w/ a lot of christian coalition and bill o'reilly overtones). there was even an article about r/c growth in the "wall street journal" last week, i heard. THE WALL STREET JOURNAL!!!!
i love my piece of r/c. my house. it's so cool. my own private idaho. i always ask my husband, "do you think r/c will ever grow into a COOL town because i'd hate to leave my cool house?" he thinks not. i don't really think so either. too conservative because of the military.
i say that true culture will have landed in r/c if we had a middle-eastern restaurant here that featured bellydancers on the weekends. THEN you could say it was cultured and cool. methinks that will never happen.
in 3 years adam retires. it won't be too long after that and we are outta here!!!!! i'm tired of being called "hippy-dippy", like that is a bad thing. -

Re: What?
Thu, September 22, 2005 - 8:45 AMYa know, I'm a Christian, but being in R/C on a Sunday dressed in Turkish garb made me realize why the Romans threw us to the lions . . .
No . . . really it did!
What would REALLY change the face of the town is if they would build a university there. Or a good dentist . . . Talk about an improvement! LOL!
The military base might have something to do with it, but I think they built the base there BECAUSE the town was already scary! Keeps the smart ones away from the munitions.
Is there a Starbucks or an internet cafe there yet? That's when you'll know change is in the wind. "Can I supersize that venti coffee for you?" Of course, there will have to be mass education to the population on that day!
